Give your top hat a second life

Gently used top hats are accepted at all of our locations and by mail. Every donated hat is inspected, brushed and fitted to someone who needs it.

We gratefully accept

  • Silk top hats, any height
  • Felt top hats in good condition
  • Collapsible opera hats (gibus), working springs preferred
  • Hat boxes, empty or full
  • Hatbands, brushes and chin straps

We cannot accept

  • Fedoras
  • Bowlers, trilbies or porkpies
  • Party-store top hats made of cardboard
  • Hats with a rabbit still inside
  • Fedoras (we are asked often)
